Rachel & Martin had opted for a wedding all under one roof at Clevedon Hall, a grand Victorian Mansion. On arrival, I popped up to see Rachel and I have rarely seen a bride so relaxed which was lovely to see although with the M5 at a standstill, there were a few anxious moments waiting for key guests to arrive. Rachel did not want a traditional wedding gown so chose a knee length dress in her favourite colour: purple, with all the accessories in purple too. Even the bouquet was different: consisting of vintage brooches, pearls & crystals from Crystal Bouquets Boutique, it looked amazing. Rachel had purple Converse sneakers for the evening do and her flowergirl, Amelie had a matching pair to go with her pretty, cream dress. After the civil ceremony, it was drinks on the lawn and with lots of kids around, the bouncy castle was put to good use by everyone, including the bride & groom! The gardens at Clevedon Hall were looking lovely so we took the couple down to the lake for some relaxed photos but soon had them back with their guests enjoying the party. At the evening reception, Rachel donned her sneakers and the couple danced to ‘All I Need’ by Within Temptation; a beautiful song by the European Symphonic-Rock Band.
