We were looking forward to a ‘blooming’ good day at Westonbirt Arboretum and with all the flowers bursting into colour, it didn’t disappoint. The couple had opted for the Arboretum for a very relaxed, informal wedding and with lots of children running around, there was plenty of room for them to let off steam. We had a great time with Becky & Phil at Westonbirt Arboretum Autumn Engagement shoot back in October. The couple had specifically requested we meet at the arboretum so that we could capture all the beautiful, autumnal colours of the trees. What a fantastic time we had and I was particularly taken with Alfie, their ‘bouncy’ Cocker Spaniel. A few problems finding the bride’s parents house, “look for a bungalow!” we were told, I don’t think Rachel had realised there were quite a few bungalows along that stretch of the road but luckily, the hearts hanging in the tree gave it away. Rachel looked stunning in a Lusan Mandongus gown and flowers by the very talented Joseph Massie completed the look with a Carmen Rose bouquet which is essentially one large flower assembled from hundreds of rose petals. Debbie & Matt had their hearts set on a colourful, autumnal wedding and rather than opt for a church, they decided on Westonbirt Arboretum as their perfect backdrop. It was great fun watching the girls getting ready, Debbie & Eunice particularly were in high spirits and the colour scheme was fab (check out Debbie’s ‘Irregular Choice’ shoes & Eunice’s mango coloured dress!) Sticking with the autumnal theme, the bouquets by ‘Oops a Daisy’ contained Mango Calla Lilies, Anastasia Roses & Cherry Brandy Roses.
